Double Exposure Fledgling Fund Fellowship

Nursing Mother at Vaah Rosemary, who received ANC from Marian Awu, at the CHPS Clinic, and delivered at hospital, talks to Marian Awu.

We are pleased to partner with The Fledgling Fund to offer competitive fellowships to journalists and filmmakers interested in working on themes related to women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights in the U.S. and beyond. Fledgling Fellows participate in the full DX program, through which they connect with colleagues in film and journalism to share stories, resources and best practices. They will have unique access to a leading organization in this field of study, PAI.

Filmmakers and journalists are increasingly covering similar terrain, yet working with different materials and within different ecosystems. Selected filmmakers and journalists in the fellowship are coming together for two hours during the DX Symposium to hear from other practitioners working successfully in this space, and gain intelligence from PAI on newsworthy tips, topics and issues. As a global organization working in more than 50 countries, PAI is providing fellows with an overview of trends and emerging issues in the field of sexual and reproductive rights, offer insight into most-affected countries and help fellows workshop potential story angles.

Scholarships are available thanks to the generous support of The Fledgling Fund.
