Patrick Radden Keefe is a staff writer at The New Yorker magazine. He is the author of The Snakehead: An Epic Tale of the Chinatown Underworld and the American DreamChatter: Dispatches from the Secret World of Global Eavesdropping, and a new book, Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland, which will be published by Doubleday in early 2019. He received the National Magazine Award for Feature Writing in 2014, was a finalist for the National Magazine Award for Reporting in 2015 and 2016, and received an Emmy Award for executive producing the virtual reality film The People’s House.
